Eventually I got a message on the bottom right side of the screen saying what shall Windows do? So I tried to get it installed and I get a blue box saying this. I re-inserted the disc and this time I let the green bar load from the left to the right.
I then download the Games For Windows Live Client and set that up. This was then where I had to eject the disc from the drive. I tried double clicking it and using the Run Program but it kept on freezing the Laptop. When I go into My Computer, it didn't have the proper symbol and it had the green bar at the top of the taskbar showing green and it was slowly dragging the green from left to right. The Disc Drive I've purchased was this.Īlright so I placed the disc in my Drive and the Laptop detected it. The Surface Pro only has 1 USB Port, so I've got a 4-Port USB Device, allowing me to connect more devices to the Laptop such as a Mouse, Printer & Keyboard. The Fallout 3 game though does require 2.4GHz but I do have the RAM needed as it's 3GB on the game. My Laptop is a Surface Pro 4 with Windows 10. In addition Mastertronic has gone bankrupt. I'm hoping because Mastertronic re-released this game even though Bethesda still owned it, that alone doesn't make a difference. At the time it was the cheapest one for me to get. This version is the Mastertronic Version. I'm hoping it will work, the seller said it should still be OK. OK so I've got this version of the game from Amazon. Still sealed.Īs I'm new to all of this I thought I can put the disc into the drive, let it install and off you go, but it turns out that wish didn't happen so I'm asking around if anyone has any idea how to resolve the situation or would this game even work on my Laptop. I've not tried to install Viva Pinata yet because it is a brand new copy. I picked up this one, obviously for the easy achievements and a Viva Pinata. But as some of you are aware I had an interest in a handful of Games For Windows Live games, so I decided to pick-up a handful of them and see how I get on. I'm pretty new to the Games For Windows Saga Collection, but at long last I finally got a decent Laptop which I've been using for Windows 10 games.
